EARTH DAY VIDEO

Earth day is closer than ever, april 22, my birthday also. This year we made a video in Computer class and we had to take pictures and video for this day. My partner was Fernanda Corzo, we get along pretty well. Our video included many pictures and 2 songs, one poem and a video clip.
Chooosing the pictures was hard because he had to decide if tehy really repsresnt nature's treasures or don;t.Also going out and taking them took a lot of time. Choosing and finding the angle to take the picture was hard to do.Putting together pictures in the video and orgnising and editinfgw was the easy part.The music we selected was absed on the feeling we wanted to express such as joy and sadness. W e choose 5 years time and One of us.The poem we found was really beautiful beacuse it was talking about us being the earth. This project was fun and it opend our eyes to beauty of the world.

SPRING BREAK

This Spring Break was good but not as i expected it.The first week was an easy week for everyone. Heat, cold ocean water, no guests,Until my It was a relaxing week. Diego was gone to Cozumel, Xime had her cousins over, Priscila was with me until wednesday night. I would help my mom cook things. We did cakes, strudles, muffins, cookies, pasta, salads, soufles...Then my aunt and her son came.One night after going to a hotel, Prisci and I went to Pedro Pablo's house to have smores in the mini campfire they've made. We also saw a movie called the 40 year old virgin. We would go to the beach club to a hotelwith my cousin.We also went to la Cruz where my cousins live. I learned to use a trainer kite and we took many pictures of the moon which that night appeared to be orange. We had also lots of fun with the sand.I had lots of fun with my cousin.Going to the Gym was fun too becase Prisci makes me laugh a lot.We would also go to the movies. ( MMCINEMAS). One movie taht I really liked was THE BLIND SIDE with Sandra Bullock.I was also invited to a yacht where we went to Yelapa.We had 2 wave-runners.I fell 2 times I had an amzaing time.

Saturday my other cousins arrived. W e went skating to Sebastian Tron's house to jump on their trampoline. I had fun jumping. We watched Tv and we ate like 45 quesadillas each. After we went home. The next day we went to a Ranch in Ixtapa. It was beautiful. I t has horses, dogs, chicks, roosters, cows,goats, and a pool,and beautiful house with a fountain.Monday more cousins arrived. W e went to the beach club of EL TIGRE in Nuevo. I learn how to use a trainer kite better and i learned how to do MANY MANY LOOPS AND REALLY FAST! (yay me!).That day we watched New Moon with my cousins (because it was a present for me ).TUesday we went to Sayulita. I already knew how to stand up in the board but that, i learned it last year in spring break.While i was "SURFING" a guy came up to me and said " hey you are a really good surfer!" I was really happy to hear that. I taught my cousins how to stand up.That was a FAIL. they are not very habile.We went shopping in Sayulita streets.Wednesday Diego arrived after being away for 14 days. That day i went to the Marietas to snorkel.I loved it. At the end i was sea sick and i wanted to go back. I came home and Diego came to say I, i couldn't believe he was finally back. I really missed him.That night i went out with my cousins to MANDALA. I had an excellent time.Next day we went to LITIBU to a beach house. There we went into the wild sea, palyed soccer( i socered 5 goals to Diego and he only scored me 2.),watched the sunset with my cousins, ate icepops,gansitos,and had a great day.The next day we went to la cruz again. My cousins and i went out to ask for money for the RED CROSS. What an experince!

Saturday all my cousins were gone. That day my aunt from Merida came for Breakfast. After we went to Saku to eat. After Diego picked me up and we went to the movies to watch DATE NIGHT. That movie had me laughing all the time. It was a pretty cool movie. In the night i watched Ice Age with my brothers.Sunday. the Tron's family(whoa re very close friends to mine) invited us to eat. We made "ORGANIC FOOD". It was really good. After eating we had lemon pie. We went jumping on the trampoline.After those days of beong full of guests school would be next.Spring Break was really cool but i think last years were funner maybe beacue i didn;t have a one week full of almost "NOTHING TO DO".I miss my cousins a lot and al the noice and the late nights laughing at nothing, or watching movies.

I wish next year is better.Maybe my cousins come for 2 weeks so we have lots more to do. oR I would also like to go to Mexico City with them. This year, I learned many things, had a lot of family unity going on.In this time of the year is when you rwlaize how much you actually miss your family who live far away.This time i didn't missed my friends like i used to for christmas or summer. This time i enjoyed a different type of company.vacations are awsome but the only bad part is when you have to come back to reality.

The color of hunger. Hunger may not have and actual color, but we give "hunger" the ciolor baserd on the emotions and thoughts taht come when Hungry.

To me, hunger is white.White is everything and nothing at the same time. A white room may seem more empty than a black room. Our body is like a house where we store evrythings. there is a room for memories, one for feelings, one for thoughts and one for loneliness, one for physicall exaustment one for food. If the room of food is empty, we become hungry. The color of this room is white. when a white room is lighted there are no different shapes of different refellctions. White, is to be said, the color of life.White is the blending of all colors and is comnsiedered a color.
Light appears colorless or white. Sunlight is white light that is composed of all the colors of the spectrum. A rainbow is proof. You can't see the colors of sunlight except when atmospheric conditions bend the light rays and create a rainbow. You can also use a prism to demonstrate this. The sum of all the colors of light add up to whie. When youa re hungey you feel physically complete but there is something missing.

White is also the color of hunger because there is energy missing even though there is light and yiu look kinda alive you're internally diying. When you eat you'll feel like a rainbow. The food for the examople above is like the weather condition, the light andc energy are there qand when you combine both it forms a rainbow. The only difference is taht a rainvbow is a visual effect of the prisma colors. Even though we can't label hunger with the color white. We can imagine fromt he feelings we get that if we had to give it a color it would be like white. It is also a color that never satisfiys you there is always somthing missing. There s alwyas the contrast with another color with whiite to make you really like and be able to appricite white. Hunger is a horriblw things and must of us ignore it because we son't have to deal with it , but still we have the guts to say ND OWN THINGS. wE SAY WE OWN THE WORLD. we don't own the world. And think about this, we say OUR WORLD. there ishn't a paper that says this is your world. The worst aprt is tht we say is ours bu we are trashing it. W e never takle the time to appriciate it. We never take yhe time to look art hunger, poor people, death, trash, destrcution of life. We and only us are the responsible for this. Also whoite is thwe color of peace. When we are hungryu we are pwacful with the environment becvause when we manage to get food we learbn tio aprriciate every bit of it.

The last project we've done is ROTOBALL.My project was about a girl(me) who is playing under the ocean ands suddenly a ball comes in. Then she garbs the ball and she appears in a prairie and the ball turns into a flower . After the flower gorws very tall and disappears. Next, she is wondering where the ball is . Suddenly the ball re-appears and the girl transforms it into a dove and it flys away.To do it it was very easy because irt was our second project in macromedia. The problem was that sometiomes I forgot to do another layer and the symbols wouldn;t work. It was tiering and boring tracing the girl in EVERY little frame. When i was doing it I thought of another idea if I had to do another projext. I guess this timne I would like to make it but with another person. Also it would be really cool to make it that the girl is the one that tramnsforms.The prjects are really cool and i've seen a professional one in TV. Doing thius project was a challenge because you had to make your own idea of what you wanted it to be. Also it was really hard to do every detail of the girl. Sometimes i messed up and had to erease a whole frame. I learned many things thati will the again use later. We should do one but with more people in it. And make it more intwresting. Also this would be a coold projecrt for another project in any othe class. I guess peopel did what they were feeling and teh things they like,. They use the things the ball becamne to as symbols of who they are re or how they arw actually feeling. This project is really interesting and I hope we work on it again.

The video overpassed my expectation. Everybody used a lot of their imaginationa nd time to put it togetehr,. I was astyonished when i watched them all. I want to congartulate al but specially rodrigo and mr mark for editong the video. I wish we all had a great time and learned a lot. I am impress of how good it is and how good it looks because it was our first project of rotoball. The group is a verty imaguinative and fun group all the project were good because they are all different.

MY ROTOBALL IDEA

My roto ball idea is pretty simple. The ball will come from the top left corner. It'll be a green ball. When it arrives to the hands the hands will close and they'll tranform the flor into a long tube which will grwo a red flower inthe top. The hands will then again close and the flower will becaome a heart, the ahnds will closde again and it'll become a white bird.and fly off to the right corner. The backround will be a garden full of flowers at first then it'll become somwhere up in the sky.The idea is simple. I guess it'll not b e difficult to make it work. I'll be doing the video thing with Priscila. It seems it'll be a pretty cool project.
